Ahhh new town and new people. There aren't any old people here who might wear my underwear on their heads. Well none that I know of. But in any case I bought new underwear that would provide more coverage so that their shiny bald spots don't get sunburnt. You know you can never be to cautious with the sun nowadays. Yes I will sacrifice nasty wegies to protect the skulls of our elderly. (But really the boy cut kind are lovely).
I bought a new bike and it's fun! My bum hurts though. When I bought it I felt like such a snob. The (cute) boy in the shop didn't seem to want me to buy the more expensive more trail type bike, he wanted to get me onto one that had thinner tires and more made for easy trails and road riding. Cause just looking at me he could deduce that I wouldn't be "dropping off 20 foot drops"... so my goal this summer is to take a "drop" and ultimatly not kill myself doing so. Hmm now if I can figure out how to actually ride it. bwah ha haha. So anyhow I did get the more expensive one, dropping lingo and nodding appropriately to make myself look like I know a little but of what I am talking about. The reason I (in my head) think I was snotty was casue I said if I wanted a bike for road riding I would just buy one of them too. But I really didn't mean for it to be snotty. Anyhow so they have to order my bike casue I am so bloody short and when it finally came in I was all stoked. I went on my lunch break with my roommie to go and get it, and we had a heck of a time trying to get it in my car, I couldnt' figure out how to get the front tire off, so I had to go and get the cute boy to show me how and he gave me a little lesson on how to take it on and off. He was very clear (apparently he didn't buy my act at all) that when I put it on to make sure that I have the disc brake thing on the disc brake other thing. (See I soooo know what I am talking about) So as he is walking away I ask "hmm where is the kick stand?" To which he replied, "You wanted a trail bike, they don't have kickstands it's not safe." So I ultimatly blew my cover... ahhh nuts.
Oh well I have a pretty little bike that cost me the equivalent to A LOT of shoes. I'm excited to ride it!

My grad reunion is coming this summer and I am torn between excited to go and see people to utter disgust that I want to go. It will be great if everyone got all fat and achieved nothing, which I am sure that some people have but I am sure that most people didn't. Then I wonder if what I have acheived is good enough to rank me in the "wow which I was as ambitious, but instead I just started poppin' out babies" I guess we will find out. Now I just need to get me in the hands of one of those extreme makeover people....

have a nice day!
