Hi everyone, it's 12:34 make a wish!
So I have tomorrow off and i am excited. I am a leetle burnt out. But that's ok. So I am taking tomorrow off because I am off to the Okanagan for my grad reunion! Eek gads.
Should be intresting, but I have a sneaking suspicion that some people haven't yet grown up and they are going to drive me crazy. But a plus to it all, I get to see Tessa! YAY baby time.
I have a doctor's appointment today, and I don't want to go. I went on Tuesday for something simple and the anxiety of being in a doctor's office had me near tears. TEARS people! He was just going to look at my ears. Sigh... I need to get over this doctor thing. I am sure there are perfectly nice doctors out there, nay I know there are wonderful doctors out there, but unfortunatly I haven't met them. The ones I have met, like to cut me! Yes cut. Anyhow I shouldn't get cut today, and if I do, ohhh you'll hear about it. (But not until Monday cause I have to go to the reunion)
Last night I went and saw Must Love Dogs. It was cute. It was funny. It was cheesy. I would reccomend it, it is a chick flick though, so be warned. I am really stoked cause Dukes of Hazzard is gonna be in Drayton next week. And I've already seen it and I'm gonna see it again. I loved it. Loved the car chases, loved the shenanigans. Even liked Jessica Simpson. She's so pretty how can you not like her, and she's just so cute with her "what's this I'm eating, is it chicken or fish". Makes me think that there has to be balance in the world, you're pretty or you're smart. Clearly you can't be both. Unless... UNLESS she is both and her "routine" is all for ratings in which case she's hot and smart!
I digress.
Dukes of Hazzard, sweet cars, cute boys and a blonde. Oh and Willie Nelson, (who doesn't sing the Gambler) he only has one pig tail braid now... I wonder why?
Ok I have been holding off on this, but since I have already talked about my strange facination with bad movies and such, lets talk about bad TV. I go home everyday at lunch to watch.... Days of Our Lives. Yes I do. Even though it takes them like 3 months to live a week on the show and the story moves along so slow, I love it. And to make matters worse, Sami is my favorite. She's just so saucy, and I hate that she is gonna get busted for the whole Stan thing. I think that NBC should hire me to write for them. Not that I could do any better, but it would be so fun! And I might even get to meet the actors! YAY! So I'll confess I have a slight geeky reason that I like to watch the show. As you know I studied anthropology in uni, and mostly cultural anth at that, which entails making trees, like generation kind, you know with the Id and the triangles being girls and squares being boys and such. Well this show is fun to imagine the tree. Let's take Belle and Phillip for example. (they're married, although she loves Shaun really, but he might go for Mimi...)
So Belle is daughter of Marlena and John. Belle's brother Brady is son of John and Isabella who is daughter of Victor who is father of Phillip. So it's kinda weird, Phillip and Belle are kinda sorta related in ways they shouldn't be. It's like playing 6 degrees of seperation, the genetic version!
And another little bitty. Marlena's real name is Deidre or Deidra, anyhow guess who I'm named after? Yes, Marlena. And guess who spelt it wrong on my birth certificate? (hint it wasn't me, but someone who I look a lot like me.)
anyhow I have to do some stuff, since I'm not going to be here tomorrow.
