Dear Montreal. Wow my visit to you was intresting. I really felt like I was in another country, with the whole other language and all, but sometimes I felt like I was really in Canada, not just the outskirts that is Alberta. I felt bad that my french is so terrible, and I kept trying to speak Korean. I crawled up to the top of Mount Royal, and it was lovely, both the mountain and the view from the top. I loved your Irish pubs, oh the yummy beer! We also went to a lovely resatuarant, I can't remember the name but it was in the style of 1705 and there were actors and what not. It was very memorable and I would go again. Your subway system was intresting. The subway station we used was 5 stories underground, which made for a lot of esclators, which are fun in their own way. We saw a lot of street preformers. There was one guy who sang and really got the crowd involved. I was really impressed with that, here was this group of a mix of languages, countries and ehtnicities and they are all signing together, it was amazing. Well until the street preformer made some highly inappropriate comments, he was talking to a Korean lady and was ching chonning to her, which irrtated me to no end. There were other street preformers who were excellent too. One guy stood transfixed in a pose, arms open and head slightly to one side, he had a sign saying, free hugs. It was quite the human expariment, people just stood and looked at him, then one guy went up and hugged him, and he hugged back. Everyone watched as the guy hugged the other guy and it wasn't creepy, but nice I thought. Moving on Monreal, I had a good time, although it was really hot and I wasn't prepared for the heat, so I curesed you a little, but only a little.... Thanks, Montreal I had good time and I am sure that I will go back one day. Dea
